4 hours and 4 miles and halfway through I knew I picked the wrong direction today. I took my Fisher F19 and headed into the forest abyss for some relic hunting and exploring . Reading the landscape history and hoping to find some old locations . With all the rock walls out here from the colonial days the chances are usually good. Well I followed a stone wall for a really long time until the ground water started showing up all over the place and it just kept getting worse.....I was stuck. I did a little metal detecting at a loggers landing and then had to climb my way out of this place. Alone in the woods hiking and exploring like this is crazy but awesome.
