Which is better? Edea E-Guards VS. Regular Hard Guards (journeybacktotheice)
Which skate guard is better? Edea E-guard or regular hard guards? In today’s video I will review both the Edea E-guards and the traditional Guard Dog hard guards for figure skates. I have been using both of these for the past few years and I wanted to share which I think is the better skate guard option.
If you have watched my videos you know that I have a pair of the ombre white and champagne Edea E-guards that I have been using everyday for the past 3-4 years. I also have a pair of the color changing Guard Dog hard guards for my coaching skates. Both have different pros and cons but overall each does exactly what they are supposed to do. One thing to mention is that the Edea guards are sold in a few different size options. Each option fits a range of blade lengths. More information about that can be found on the Edea website. Please note hard guards are not the same as soakers. You will need both a pair of hard guards and a pair of soakers to properly take care of your skates
