Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Hi I'm Jane, the Cornish Knitter, and I share my knitting stories, life over 60 ,and my yarn business life with you on this channel based from my home county of Cornwall in the UK. This month I explore why, as a woman of my generation, I feel overwhelming guilt all the time about trying to say 'no' more often, and for carving out more 'me time'. I am trying to make some changes in my life but I am struggling to adapt and I am starting to think it's due to how we were conditioned as young women and the expectations placed on us.. In this video I share my struggles and thoughts and relate them to my knitting life and what knitting has to teach me about slowing down. I share my latest knits and project plans and use them as a metaphor for my thoughts. This is just my perspective and story, but I know from conversations with many women of my age that I am not alone in thinking this way. I haven't got it sussed but I don't think many have!
