Fender just released their Vintera II Series of vintage spec electric guitars made in Mexico, offering a lower priced alternative to their American Vintage II Series of guitars. Last year Fender released the Player Plus series that offers higher end modern specs at a lower price. The Vintera II 60's Stratocaster and the Player Plus Stratocaster are similarly priced which begs the question - which one should you buy?
