Most people think the best NFL players come from states like Texas, California, and Florida. And that's actually pretty accurate! But when it comes to the rate relative to their population, there are other contenders vying for the crown.
In this video we look at which states make the best case to be crowned the NFL's top talent produced, both by volume and per capita.
I learned about the existence of Pro Football Reference's Approximate Value in the middle of creating this video. In hindsight, I probably should've used that value to rank players instead of the Pro Bowls/All Pros calculation I did since AV appears to be way more comprehensive.
