I said in this video there is "nothing in the text" that would indicate that the suffering servant of Isa 53 was the righteous remnant of Israel. I should have said, "I can see why some would argue that the suffering servant of Isaiah 53 is the righteous remnant of Israel, but there are many clear reasons to reject this association and to recognize that the text speaks of the Messiah."
