Nightmares are not animatronics, they're separate race. Chris have forgave Michael, but he hate William.
Sky was one who've tought Chris to release his emotions through songs. He and Skye are quite close and they spend a lot of time together. Only Skye and Nightmares can see Chriss' tears and his soft side. And only Skye can freely enter Chris's room and communicate with nightmares.
