I usually script my videos on Google Docs, but I got so carried away with this topic that I ended up writing this one in my journal, lol. Here's a little chat about the fear of practice.
This last month of 2024 is really bringing up many things in my life that need closure. And I reflected on a matter that's quite relevant to pretty much all of us in the art/creative community: The need to practice and our RESISTANCE TO PRACTICING. In my experience I learned two things: 1. Practice won't make us perfect, cause nothing can; 2. Practice gives us KNOWLEDGE. So why are we so afraid of practising any craft? Is it our impatience? Is it the fear of failure?
