The AlfaSud handled better than anything in its class, it was roomier, faster, comfortable and well designed. It was Italy's chance to also sold well, so how is it possible it was still part of Alfa Romeo's decline? Today I drive a wonderful 1979 1.5 Super four door AlfaSud and discuss the factors that squandered the resurgence that Alfa should have enjoyed.
