The pilots of a Korean Air Boeing 747 are desperately searching for the runway, on their final approach to Guam, in the West Pacific. Heavy rain pelts their windscreens, and dark clouds obscure the path in front of them. The runway should be straight ahead, but they can’t see it. What they don’t know, is that they have made a grave mistake, which will soon become impossible to ignore. In the darkness, between them and the airport, lies a hill. What got the crew into this situation in the first place? And - would they figure out what was happening, before it was too late? 254 lives hang in the balance. This is the story of Korean Air flight 801.
