I have been fishing this little urban brook for over ten years, and over the last two seasons, things have taken a drastic downturn.
On the first trip this year I was hoping for better results, the start of the season, March, is often the best as I can get in properly and fish without loads of trees and nettles hampering me, so my spirits were high....
In my opinion, the brook was the best I have ever seen it looking, yet life, in all its guises, seemed to be lacking on this trip.
Weirdly, It used to harbour some pretty hefty fish for such a small piece of water, what's happened ?!
