Julie has had a lot of trauma in the past few years which has triggered some hoarding. She grew up in a hoarded home, but actually kept a clean and tidy home for the most part up until a few years ago when she had multiple traumatic events occur. Hoarding was one of the ways she dealt with the trauma.
We will talk about mental illness and hoarding disorder and what kinds of factors make you predisposed to hoarding and why chromosome 14 could be responsible for some of that.
