Ever since I was a kid, I've noticed several instances in anime where wind magic or wind users are colored green. It started with a certain JRPG and continued on as I watched more anime and played more games. It's been bugging me lately as I've seen it more and more, so I decided to investigate. The results of this investigation may blow you away!

Shout-outs and Sources:
I sourced various images and gifs from the Wiki and Fandom pages for Pokémon, Yu Yu Hakusho, Demon Slayer, Castlevania, Fire Emblem, Yo-kai Watch, Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy. Though a majority of these examples I came up with myself, an entry on TV Tropes I found in the midst of making this video jogged my memory on certain franchises, like Castlevania. Big thanks to my friend Tristin for educating me on & providing the footage for Disgaea and to my friend Brandon for reminding me about Demon Slayer!
