1. The 'leave the toe' method (HM)
2. The 'chop the toe off' method (Old school)
The world of hoof care is moving fast latterly with research finally now being done on barefoot horses, although far from even close to being enough... but it's a start.
Yet still there are those who constantly wheel out the old rhetoric with poor examples and lack of true understanding (or evidence).
I hope to enlighten you with the difference between the two and hopefully help you begin your journey into understanding why the equine world is so confused when it comes to hoof care.

Laminitis is an epidemic worldwide - it is not being cured, it is being perpetuated - and the reason for that is old school thinking.
