Yosuke is way more popular in Japanese polls, meanwhile Ryuji and Kanji consistently rank pretty low even though they are fan favorites with the Western, and even global, audience.
Interestingly enough, Yosuke doesn't really have any glaring flaw that would make him unlikeable to a Japanese audience unlike all the other male party members (Akihiko, Yusuke, Junpei, Ryuji, Kanji).
