The E Unit is a main component for most Postwar Lionels. It distributes through the locomotive all the power picked up from the track. If its not working properly, your loco will not move, change direction, or even puff smoke or light up (if a main connection is broken). Here is a very basic "how to" for your Lionel's E Unit. Its not complicated, but you WILL need patience. I truly appreciate everyone's comments and support in this community we all built.
