At the #MongoDB World 2022 conference, I got to tell our story of Amplience and how we evolved into a MACH-based Architecture. I was representing the MACH Alliance with a presentation named MACH Matters, with a remit to explain why MACH Architecture is so important today.

"Transforming your business to modern architectures like MACH and composable can be mystifying. But they don't need to be. John Williams will help demystify what MACH architecture is, why it matters, and why it's different from other architectures.

Rather than explain the principle components of MACH, which I have done on this channel, I decided to tell a true story of how we evolved (#Amplience) into #MACHArchitecture. The story, like many startups, is one of struggle, success, shock, rebuilding, more success, and even more challenges. But what has helped us win against the odds during this journey (apart from an incredible team) was using MACH principles - Microservices, API First, Cloud Native and, of course, Headless.
