He had potential, and maybe he still does, but Abel just did not work when he was first released as Street Fighter 4's main protagonist. Why? If we're honest, it feels like it's because Capcom decided to rip an interesting story out from under him and turn him into a boring, bland, clone that everyone would surely forget.
