I hold you hostage in my underground interrogation room for 30 minutes to talk about the sub-culture of crack ships within different fandoms. Our crack ship of the day is Sukurella, otherwise known as Sukuna x Cinderella, otherwise known as Ryomen Sukuna of "Jujutsu Kaisen" fame and Cinderella from the 1950s Disney feature.
What was first a joke on 08/30/2023 has spiraled out of control, becoming a self-propagating cauldron of insane lore, and incredible art work. We'll break down the concept of crack ships, first by defining what they are, and how they differ from the typical fandom practice of "shipping". Then, we will explore how Sukurella reflects the initial development of crack ships before transforming into a genuine ship.
