There are moments when life tosses you a curveball and hits you hard. But the goal is to find the strength to get back up. My last adventure was one of those curve ball trips. So today I was eager to seek some redemption. Another adventurer wouldn’t be so lucky. This jeep was only two vehicles ahead of me as was climbing up the trail and to now see it on its side was shocking. The woman driving the jeep was uninjured and her dog was also not harmed. The guys on the trail already had the jeep recovery planned and they were already executing their plan using a winch, a tree and multiple recovery points. This was a reminder of the dangers of driving steep trails on icy roads.
