Good utility modules are the heart of eurorack modular patches. You always need LFOs, envelopes and ways to manipulate them to achieve the sound you're after. In this video I show how to use three new modules from Nekyia Circuits as the heart of the modulation you need in your patches.
Cadence is a triple attack-decay envelope generator with some handy chaining features, Mezcal is a CV workhorse with a multiple, inverter, rectifier and comparator circuit, and Muzzle is a vactrol-based filter with a lovely creamy sound. I combine them with Nekyia Obsidian, Opal and Sosumi to create all sorts of fun patch ideas.
