If you're looking to buy a new Jeep Grand Cherokee, avoid these trim models! Every model has its problems from the Laredo/altitude, to the limited, SRT, or Trackhawk but there are a few things you need to think about when shopping for a new or used Jeep Grand Cherokee. My 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude was amazing while I had it, and my current SRT has had some issues (which aren't so great). No matter what you're looking to buy - make sure to take these into account:
Engine Type: Whether you may want the 3.6L v6, 5.7L V8, 6.2L Supercharged (Trackhawk) or the 6.4L v8 (392) on the SRT.
Gas mileage (MPG): The SRT / Trackhawk can range from 9-13 mpg whereas an altitude with the 3.6L v6 can get over 20+ MPG
Trim Levels: If you want to take your Jeep offroad - you may want to consider the trailhawk for the standard equipment, or for a sportier look and feel the limited X or SRT may be the best choice for you!
