Wild Mushrooms and Raspberries | Late Summer Cooking & Preserving

We have a blast harvesting ripe raspberries in the grassy meadow and wild mushrooms in the mossy woods of our property. A favorite way of ours to preserve mushrooms is as simple as air drying and storing in jars for winter. These mushrooms were scrumptious cooked into a pâté and the Italian dish Pappardelle. The raspberries made a wonderful preserve, no pectin needed, and we finish off last year's berries in the freezer with a quadruple berry pie!
