I purchased this Multimoog in 1978 to replace my Minimoog. Sonically ,at first, it was a bit of a disappointment as the sound was not as rounded and 'fat' as the Mini. Later I was to find the "after touch" function indispensable to provide extra expression, using pressure rather than the modulation wheel to introduce vibrato, especially as my other hand was playing the Yamaha CS-80! The other feature that provided part of the signature sound to the After The Fire song Laser Love was applying the Sample and Hold to modulate the Filter (rather than pitch).
