The winter season is perfect for landscape photography and when the snow finally arrived last week, photography was all that I could think of and I simply couldn't wait to get out and grab the opportunity. In this session I have only a couple hours to make the most of the conditions but I manage to find four lovely winter scenes to shoot. The video is perfect for anyone who wants to gain inspiration to photograph woodland in winter, as I basically share my thought process for you to benefit from.
I have been a nature photographer now for over thirty years spending much of my time in the woodland landscape, observing the seasons and how nature integrates with them, which has served me well when it comes to my photography. Crafting great images can seem like a long and lonely road but YouTube has really made a difference when it comes to fast-tracking the learning process.
