The Winter Solstice on December 21st marks the darkest & shortest day of the year. It's a gateway for introspection, stillness and renewal, a powerful time to retreat, to dive fully into the darkness for one last time until the days start to get longer again, and embrace it.
Make yourself cozy and warm at home, light a candle that represents your inner light and turn inwards. As the Solstice represents new beginnings, it's a great time to reflect, express gratitude and to set new intentions for your life. Come to rest, come into stillness and receive your inner guidance.
I'm very happy to share this special video with you today that features @DanielAnicSaz, one of my favorite humans to spend time on earth with. Last year around this time we slowly began forming a deeper connection, often meeting for jamsession and sharing a lot about our musical journeys. Before I met him, I never played with a Bağlama / Saz together, neither did I know much about this instrument. Daniel's passion about it caught me immediately, he is a great musician and I'm so excited that we finally made a video together.
