We are out of fire wood again! just as the weather is calling for a winter snow storm to roll in and freezing temperatures -10 -20. We never got around to cutting fire wood this fall as we have lots of standing dead fir and poplar that is bone dry and ready to burn immediately! A simple solution for anyone finding them selves without any fire wood in the north during a Canadian winter, If a snow storm is on the horizon then it becomes even more urgent to have heat and fire wood. I defiantly do not recommend what we are doing but its working for us, we are surviving freezing temperatures in an RV of all things as we did not have enough time this year to get our log cabin built!
