Cab ride in the class 101 locomotive on a night train from Hamburg-Harburg via Hamburg Central Station and Hamburg Dammtor to Hamburg-Altona.
Hamburg, the city of bridges, starts the day. By this time, however, the NightJet 470 from Zurich has almost reached its destination after a good 1000 kilometres. Having started in Switzerland the evening before, the train travels through the night and almost all of Germany to the Hanseatic city.
At the timetable change in December 2024, the class 101 will be withdrawn from this service and replaced by an ÖBB Taurus, so it is also a farewell to the locomotive on this service.
