The Woking Centenary Steam Weekend, held on 25th and 26th March 1995, celebrated the 100th anniversary of Woking Borough Council.

Steam locomotive 35028 ‘Clan Line’ played a significant role in the celebrations. On 24th March, ‘Clan Line’ operated a special service named “The Woking Centenarian,” running from Woking to Clapham Junction.

The following day, 25th March, ‘Clan Line’ was involved in a private charter, believed to have been organised for a charitable cause to provide underprivileged children with a memorable day out. The locomotive departed Woking around 10:30 am, traveled to Portsmouth & Southsea, and then returned to Woking.

On 26th March, ‘Clan Line’ continued its participation in the centenary events, posing at Waterloo Station after completing the Woking Council Centenary workings.

This was my first solo production project too, I shot, edited and did the motion graphics on a very early Media 100 suite.
