The Women’s Pole Vault event got underway at 18:57 (local time) on July 13, 2021, at Gateshead International Stadium in Gateshead, Great Britain. On that day the Temperature range was between 55°F - 68°F (13°C - 20°C). Gateshead International Stadium is located at Sea Level, along the shore of the Tyne River.

The following athletes would not compete in the Tokyo Olympics, but, their World Ranking in Women’s Pole Vault from World Athletics on July 13, 2021 was the following:
Former University of Washington Husky Olivia Gruver (USA) Ranked Number 18
Molly Caudery (Great Britain), Ranked Number 36
How it Unfolded:
The heavy hitters on the event: Morris (USA), Bradshaw (Great Britain), Murto (Finland), Kyriakopoulou (Greece) would all dispute Round 3:
Round 3 @ 4.51 meters
All Four athletes cleared the height on their first try.
Round 4 @ 4.61 m
Kyriakopoulou would miss 4.61 m 3X.
Morris (USA) cleared 4.61 m on her first try.
Murto (Finland) cleared 4.61 m on her second try.
Bradshaw (Great Britain) cleared 4.61 m on her third try.
Round 5 @ 4.71 m
Murto (Finland) missed 4.71 m 3X.
Both, Morris (USA), and Bradshaw (Great Britain) cleared 4.61 m on their second try.
Round 6 @ 4.76 m
Morris (USA) cleared 4.76 m on her first try.
Bradshaw (Great Britain) skipped 4.76 m
Round 7 @ 4.81 m
Both Morris (USA) and Bradshaw (Great Britain) would miss 4.81 m, 3X.
Therefore, Sandi Morris (USA) took the Victory.
