WONDERING about a Wreath Frame? WONDER NO MORE!

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

WONDER NO MORE! Now that Fall is just right around the corner, I'll be making my Fall and Christmas wreaths! In today's video I'll show you how to make this beautiful Fall cross wreath using 2 five gallon paint stir sticks. A lot of you told me that you are having a problem finding a yardstick, so this technique may be the solution to the "hunt for a yardstick". Five gallon paint stir sticks are very easy to come by! You can pick them up at any home improvement store and most likely any place that sells paint. (and most places will give them to you free) I used 1 five gallon paint stir stick for the spine of the cross-I used a total of 17 petals for the top to bottom, of the spine of the cross. I cut 1 five gallon paint stir stick to 14 inches for the cross bar- I used 12 petals to cover the cross bar of the cross. (side to side) The method of my petals is known as the "Rita petal" also the "Flower petal" and I'm referring to it as the "Angel wing petal" The supplies that I used for todays project: 2 Five gallon paint stir sticks E6000 and hot glue plastic clips or any clips you have The paint color is Apple Barrel Spiced Berry #21959E zip ties My wood burning tool can be found in the craft section at Walmart You want to make sure you use a cutting board or a cookie sheet when burning the mesh. Please wear a mask if you burn the mesh, it's plastic and puts off fumes. You can also use a rotary cutter or scissors. I used poly burlap mesh that I had on hand and I buy mine from my local wholesaler. You can find poly burlap and other mesh products at www.craftoutlet.com You can use any kind of mesh that you like or may have on hand. If your mesh is 10 inches wide you'll want to cut it to 10 inches long so you'll have a perfect square. JUST HAVE FUN WITH IT!
