Pyrography tutorial that shows beginner techniques to improve burn results, achieving your ideal combination, and shading tips to get smooth burn results in wood burning. I show you how to create uniform color both with and against the grain. Then I show you how to extend the color and fix problems. I also explain 4 different way of getting gradient shading, so you can find the one that works best for you.
Furthermore, all of the examples in this tutorial have been kept in real-time, so you can easily see what I’m doing. As always, there is a table of contents a little further down that lists clickable times to help you navigate the video if you need to review a particular item.
My website has a written version of this tutorial: https://wp.me/p8j0lZ-3RF
I tried to explain everything I did, but if I used a term you’re unsure of, I have a YouTube tutorial explaining my terminology for different types of burn strokes: https://youtu.be/PI_U7dXHwRo
