In this pyrography wood burning tutorial episode, I will explain how I trace from photos to do portraits. I will cover everything I do to get ready to trace, explain my method for tracing, and what I check for after I'm done tracing.
I often get asked why I don't use carbon paper when tracing. The simple answer is that I've yet to find a brand I like. They are either so light that it's hard to see, or so dark it's hard to erase the lines. I get sick and tired of wasting money trying to find a decent brand, so I use the method demonstrated in the video. It has never failed me!

Burner = Colwood Super Pro II

Please be aware that I am not affiliated with Colwood. I just happen to use their brand of burner. Since I get numerous questions about where to buy one, I've included a link to their website.
