So here's the other railroad crossing in Downtown West Chicago that I found pretty neat. So this crossing (Just owned by the Geneva Sub) has a similar pedestrian setup like what Washington Avenue has, but the neat part here are the bells, a GS Type 1 (which is already pretty uncommon on UP Territory), and a WCH Type 1.5! As well as a handful of older gate mechanisms here still kicking and working well, and this crossing is also one of the closest ones to the Metra station as far as I can see. So I guess with that said, I hope y'all enjoy this one Location: Wood Street, West Chicago, Illinois Railroad Owner/Subdivision: Union Pacific, Geneva Sub Status: Active Estimated Trains Per Day: 65-80 Amount of Tracks: 3 Quiet Zone: Yes (24-Hour) The rest should explain for itself. Thanks for watching!
