Part 2 of my series on reimagining wood stove efficiency, because it doesn't matter how efficient your burn is, if you're not efficiently extracting and utilizing the heat. In this video, I build and test a prototype radiator for my insulated woodstove (linked below). The radiator uses adjustable channels and baffles to extract heat efficiently, warming your room while reducing exhaust temps and creosote buildup. I’ll show how it works and share plans for future upgrades— like hooking it to a water heater or thermal mass.
