I made a bowl from a decayed piece of birchwood. I previously prepared the wood and set it aside to dry, and now that it is dry, I mounted it on the lathe. Now and then I stopped turning and filled cracks in the wood with sawdust, Fastick Filler, and ca glue, and in some places reinforced the wood with ca glue. I finished the bowl with several layers of sealer, sanded in between and finally friction polish. The bowl has a diameter of 24 centimeters and is 4 and a half centimeters high.
