Thanks for watching and subscribing! This is my 5th filmed project, and it was a doozy! In hindsight, I should have kept the face plate on the piece in order to line it up with the tail stock in order to avoid being so off-center on the mortise.
Let me know in the comments if you think I made the right decision to remove the remains of the live-edge. It's a pity to have lost so much of the burl in that process, but I think the end result is pretty nice.
