Today I am making a simple elegant box from spalted walnut. I will be testing out some new carbide tools, a new epoxy resin, and a new finish. This was the perfect piece to test out some new techniques on. It was a fun small piece that I will keep in my shop to store my wedding ring, while I am "turning" wood into sawdust.
