Bowl was super wobbly on my lathe, throughout most of the turning for two reasons - first because i turned the rough cut log without much trimming, and second, it had a really nice top curve with the bark that i wanted to incorporate into the finished bowl…but that meant dealing with this hideous wobble when finishing both the outside and the inside of the piece!!! Had to go over sections more than i would have otherwise because of that. means i probably need to consider bolting my lathe down to the floor ;) after all that, i think it turned out really nice. let me know: what do you think? let me know in a comment. Wood is live edge walnut, turned on Grizley lathe. Sanded down to 800 grit and finished inside and out with Dr. Kirk’s Scratch Free. food safe finish and look great. ___________________________ Works for sale on my Etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/ScottsdaleWoodworks ___________________________ Interesting in commissioning a work? please email me at: [email protected] ___________________________ Disclaimer: this video is for entertainment purposes only, and is not meant as instruction on woodturning techniques.
