Got this amazing apple log out of our potential burn pile. I've been milling up some small slabs and this was an offcut. So glad I saved it, the grain is amazing. The log was rather wet, but it still sanded well to 7000 grit. It is finished with a few coats of Danish oil which really make that grain pop.
