Video Not Working? Fix It Now

It's been a little while, I've been really busy with work & my studies. I haven't managed to get out into the workshop much and when I did I wasn't in the frame of mind to turn. For me turning has always been something I can use to calm my emotions and create something the has a piece of my soul included. I really felt fantastic when making this piece, so its one of my favourites I've done for a while. It's so nice to make something that doesn't have an overall purpose apart from looking good, and I think this piece ticks that box. It's made of an Elm crotch I received from my arborist friend Connor. The piece has been sanded to 320 grit and finished with three coats of Danish oil. I'm currently experimenting with my finishing technique, so please let me know what you think! ________________________________________________________________ Social Media: Instagram: harrysmith_woodturning TikTok: @harrysmithwoodturning Second Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/HarrySmithShorts Designed By HS Channel: https://www.youtube.com/@DesignedbyHS Email for quotes and queries: [email protected] __________________________________________________________________________ Starbond: Use the code: HarrySmith , for 10% OFF Site-Wide - https://starbond.com/ __________________________________________________________________________ Axminster: This channel is supported by Axminster. Some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest, so when using any tool or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines first. And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT copy my actions if you feel unsafe doing so.
