Video Not Working? Fix It Now

I got this big oak trunk about two years ago and I've been trying to work out what I want to do with it. I had originally planned to turn one BIG piece from it, but I wasn't sure what, maybe in my head I had the idea of a large vase? Anyway, I decided to cut it into three pieces as I felt I'd get more value from it, and this piece seriously didn't disappoint. The markings are just fabulous, the burr clusters with the deep open grain of the English Oak just pop. I cannot wait to turn the next 2 pieces, but what should I make with them? I wanted to make vase using the end grain of the wood as I haven't done this before and I thought it would look really cool, I think I was right 😁 The wood has been sanded to 3000 grit and finished with Danish oil and Wood wax Let me know what you think in the comments 😁👍 Axminster tools used in this video: https://www.tagserve.com/clickServlet?AID=3396&MID=485&PID=691&SID=4175&CID=1965&LID=1276&SUBID=&TARGETURL=https://www.axminstertools.com/axminster-woodturning-evolution-sk100-chuck-package-m33-x-3-5mm-108565 https://www.tagserve.com/clickServlet?AID=3396&MID=485&PID=691&SID=4175&CID=1965&LID=1276&SUBID=&TARGETURL=https://www.axminstertools.com/crown-cryo-m42-spindle-roughing-gouge-105907 https://www.tagserve.com/clickServlet?AID=3396&MID=485&PID=691&SID=4175&CID=1965&LID=1276&SUBID=&TARGETURL=https://www.axminstertools.com/crown-cryo-david-ellsworth-signature-bowl-gouge-1-2-506516 https://www.tagserve.com/clickServlet?AID=3396&MID=485&PID=691&SID=4175&CID=1965&LID=1276&SUBID=&TARGETURL=https://www.axminstertools.com/shokunin-japanese-ryoba-double-edged-saw-270mm-105007 https://www.tagserve.com/clickServlet?AID=3396&MID=485&PID=691&SID=4175&CID=1965&LID=1276&SUBID=&TARGETURL=https://www.axminstertools.com/axminster-professional-ap3352b-bandsaw-230v-107644 https://www.tagserve.com/clickServlet?AID=3396&MID=485&PID=691&SID=4175&CID=1965&LID=1276&SUBID=&TARGETURL=https://www.axminstertools.com/axminster-professional-ap508wl-woodturning-lathe-230v-107657 ________________________________________________________________ Social Media: Instagram: harrysmith_woodturning TikTok: @harrysmithwoodturning Second Channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/HarrySmithShorts Email for quotes and queries: [email protected] __________________________________________________________________________ Starbond: Use the code: HarrySmith , for 10% OFF Site-Wide - https://starbond.com/ __________________________________________________________________________ Axminster: This channel is supported by Axminster. Some of my techniques might not be the "best" or safest, so when using any tool or machinery always read and understand safety/manufacturers guidelines first. And Yes, I'm aware that wearing gloves while woodturning is considered an unsafe practice. The gloves I wear are tight-fitting and don’t have any loose threads. I wear them for the protection of my skin. This is a risk that I am willing to take, however I am still very conscious of the potential danger and I do not touch any spinning parts of the lathe. DO NOT copy my actions if you feel unsafe doing so.
