Oshima Island is also home to the Munakata Taisha Nakatsu shrine, a World Cultural Heritage site.
Hearing that there is a campsite on Oshima, I went to check it out.

It is more like survival camping than modern camping.
Except for a few places, it is not so different from a deserted island.
But there are still some people who come here to camp.
One place, Iwase beach (near Okitsumiya shrine), is not shown in the video. (near the Okitsumiya shrine) is not shown in the video.
This place was not in a condition to pitch tents and was not a campsite.

At any rate, there is nothing at the site. If you pitch your tent on the beach, you will probably sink at high tide.
