Jeff will show you where the world-famous Tagus Ranch was located near Tulare, California and about its rich history.
Millionaire boy wonder Hulett Merritt bought the ranch near Tulare in 1912 and expanded the operation to become the largest ranch in the world. It became very famous, largely because it was purchased by Ricky Nelson who turned it into an entertainment venue that attracted the likes of Merle Haggard, Ray Charles and the Platters.
Today nothing remains of the ranch, except for a few remaining buildings.
