以前番組で紹介した、成人式のド派手衣装を手掛ける「みやび」。去る１１月に行われた「第６２回ミス・インターナショナル世界大会２０２４」、その日本代表がなんと「みやび」の衣装を着て晴れの舞台に臨むという情報が番組にもたらされた。意気揚々と大会が行われる東京へと向かおうとした取材班だが、予想外の出来事が待っていた！？

The information was brought to our attention that the Japanese representative for the 62nd Miss International World Pageant 2024 would be wearing a Miyabi costume for the big day. The crew was elated to head to Tokyo, where the pageant was to be held, but an unexpected event awaited them.
【福岡県民らしさとは？】
福岡県民が他県からの来訪者によく聞かれる質問が「美味しいもつ鍋屋さんを教えて」「美味しい明太子を教えて」。しかし県民の多くは滅多にもつ鍋を食べない、ましてや明太子の違いなど正直分からない。それにも関わらず、グルメサイトで必死にもつ鍋店を探し、有名メーカーの名前を出して明太子に詳しいように振る舞う。他にも「ラーメンはカタ麺一択」「うどんはごぼう天一択」等々、無理して「福岡県民らしさ」を保とうとする。これらは一種の同調圧力と言っても過言ではない。しかし、他人の目を気にして自分に嘘をつく人生を「幸せ」と言えるのだろうか。そこで番組では街行く人々に「実は福岡県民らしくないところ」を告白してもらい、心のわだかまりを払拭してもらう。
【What is the character of Fukuoka Prefecture?】
Fukuoka Prefecture residents are often asked by visitors from other prefectures, “Tell me a good motsunabe restaurant” or “Tell me a good mentaiko (spicy cod roe). However, many residents of the prefecture rarely eat motsunabe, and moreover, they honestly do not know the difference between mentaiko. Nonetheless, they frantically search for a motsunabe restaurant on gourmet websites and act as if they are familiar with mentaiko by mentioning the names of famous manufacturers. They also try to maintain their “Fukuoka Prefecture-ness” by forcing themselves to choose kata-men (hard noodles) for ramen, gobo-ten (burdock root tempura) for udon, etc. These are all a kind of peer pressure. However, can a life in which people lie to themselves out of concern for the eyes of others be called “happy”? In this program, we ask people on the street to confess what they think is “uncharacteristic of Fukuoka Prefecture” in order to dispel any lingering doubts they may have in their minds.
