In this video we visit Dutch agricultural farming and contracting company Buijs, located in the small village of Emmer-Compascuum in the North-East of the Netherlands. Highlight of this video is their Vredo VT7028-3 self propelled slurry applicator. This machine has been modified in the farms own workshop and a 51m wide boom has been fitted. This is used to spread slurry over recently drilled crops, which helps to prevent wind erosion. It can also be used to apply suspension fertilisers.
There is more action on the farm. A Fendt 826 is ploughing and drilling a cover crop in a single pass. A Fendt 939 is spading with an Imants rotary spader and chicory is drilled by a Fendt 516 and 18 row Grimme Matrix 1800. Finally we see the farms brand new Kumm KTR slurry tank working behind a Fendt 942.
