I visit the Jatayu Earth Center. Undoubtedly the Best Statue in India and perhaps the best tourist place in India which has been recently made. You will see what makes this tourist place so unique and special in this video. It is 100% privately funded at a cost of $100 crores only by multiple NRI investors. It is made on a BOT - Build,Operate, Transfer model according to which the tourist site will be given to government after 30 years. Apart from this unique business model, this is also an eco-tourism site this sculpture drawn byRajiv Anchal.
In the epic Ramayana, the mythical bird Jatayu witnessed Sita
being kidnapped by the demon king Ravana. When Jatayu tried
to stop Ravana, the demon king used Chandrahasa, a weapon he
got from the gods, to chop off one of its wings. It is believed that
the bird fell on a rock and was alive to narrate the story to Lord
Rama who later gave moksha to the dying bird.
