Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue says Netflix has had the “painful realisation” that they sunk a lot of money into the “world’s most boring couple”.
Prince Harry will not appear at all in Meghan Markle’s new lifestyle program for Netflix and the Duchess of Sussex never gives any full recipes, an insider at the streamer has claimed.
Entitled “With Love, Meghan”, the eight-part series will see the ex-working royal invite famous guests over to share cooking, gardening and hosting tips and is produced under the Sussexes’ Archewell company banner.
“I do find it interesting the kinds of things we have been hearing from Netflix about how they support the couple, and they are looking forward to making a success of things, because I actually think it’s a bit of a hostage statement,” Ms Krakue told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.
