Broadcast February 6th, 2025 ------------------------------ The Oosterschelde has left Christchurch, New Zealand and is sailing for 7 weeks, nonstop, across the Pacific Ocean! These are the roughest waters on the planet, so it's sure to be an adventure! In this week's episode of the World's Most Exciting Classroom: -We'll have a live connection from the ship, they've had some really rough weather, so we'll catch up with Tom and Mara to see just how stormy the ocean got. -Joining us will be Sandra Guy, she's a volunteer with Sydney Wildlife Rescue who keeps an eye on the grey-headed flying-fox colony in Sydney, Australia's Centennial Park. Each day she looks for pups that have been orphaned and brings them home to raise them until they can be released. We'll learn about the work she's doing and meet some of her rescued flying-foxes!
