Wuyishan or Wuyi mountain is located in the Fujian province in China. It is famous for its tea. Some people even claim that all the tea in the world is coming from this area. This place has loads to offer also for nature lovers.
It is a place not well known by tourists and can be described as a hidden secret in China.

We went for 2 days to Wuyishan. While the area is very touristy, you are still able to do your own hikes in this region. But there are also loads of activities where you will meet different groups in this unesco world heritage side.
One of the activities is for example to take a bamboo boat. And experience how it was, how the tea was transported back to the bottom of the mountain.
The region is named after Wu and Yi and that is why it is called Wuyi Mountain.
